Interested in growing food outside your home or in your neighborhood in the City of Kingston this season? We can help!
The Kingston YMCA Farm Project, Hudson Valley Farm Hub, Hudson Valley Seed Co, and Kingston Land Trust are offering materials, labor, and guidance to support folks in the City of Kingston to create raised-bed gardens outside of their homes or in their neighborhoods.
We have the ability to install a garden bed at 20 residential locations in the City of Kingston in 2020. With limited resources available, we are prioritizing low income, elderly, disabled / people with disabilities or chronic illness, migrant, refugee, Black, Indigenous, or People of Color, families with children, women, and trans* non-binary folks.

Fall Youth Crew
Now Hiring for our Fall Youth Crew!
The Kingston YMCA Farm Project has begun recruitment for the fall session of their youth farm crew! The youth crew will assist farm staff in community food production and food access by maintaining the urban farm while also assisting with the local farm stand and educational programs.
The session will take place from September 18th – October 28th (6 weeks) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2:30-5:30pm. Farm stand shift is on a Thursday until 6:00pm. There may be one or two weekend work sessions. Please see draft calendar linked below. Youth farm crew members must be between the ages of 14-18 years old and have working papers. The pay rate is $10/hour.

Farm to Fork 2017
Join us for our third annual Farm to Fork Fundraiser at the Kingston YMCA Farm Project. Enjoy a locally sourced multi-course dinner, live music, and special drinks under a tent at our beautiful urban farm. All proceeds from this event will directly support our youth development programs which engage young people in urban farming, farm stand management, and expose them to careers in the local foods movement. We hope you will join us a guest or a volunteer on Saturday, July 22nd from 5:30-8:30.
