Farm Expansion Work Weekend
Farm Expansion Work Weekend
September 30 10-4 | October 1 10-3 | October 2 10-3
We are expanding the Farm! And we need your help! Calling all volunteers to help us increase the growing space of the garden. With our larger growing space we will be able to grow more food for Midtown Kingston and host more young people! All ages and levels of experience are welcome; we have tools for big and little hands. Come help us move topsoil and compost, replace the perimeter fence, relocate framed garden beds. Email kingstonymcafarm@gmail.com if you have questions, want to help with specialized skills or want to bring a group.
Thank you Kingston Wine Co!
We are so grateful to the Kingston Wine Co and to all of you for coming out to support Give Back Day on April 9th. We raised $500 that will go towards educational programming at the Kingston YMCA Farm Project. We feel so fortunate to be a part of the generous Kingston community!

The project began in 2013 when a former childcare director at the YMCA was connected to a local farmer. “I was looking for a place to farm and work with kids,” farmer and project director KayCee Wimbish said recently.
